Healthcare Innovation: The Next Spindletop for Texas?

 The Texas Lyceum convenes its 2012 Public Conference in Houston to address the impact and challenges faced in healthcare innovation in Texas as it relates to the health and economic future of Texans. Presentations and tours will be offered to help Lyceum Directors better understand how biomedical research benefits the state.
 
An intended goal of the conference will be to raise the level of awareness of Lyceum Directors and the public regarding public policy involving commercialization and funding of biomedical research, education in the sciences and medicine, challenges faced and lessons learned by leading entreprenuers, and state initiatives including the $3B Cancer and Prevention Research Institute of Texas.
 
No registration refunds will be given after October 15.

The Lyceum has secured a block of rooms at the Hotel Icon, 220 Main Street, for three nights beginning Thursday, October 18. Please call 832-667-4450 by September 27, 2012 to get the Lyceum rate of $139/night.
